We are on the lookout for an experienced candidate to own PayPoint\’s IT security. The successful Security Manager will be responsible for a dynamic team, safeguard systems, drive continuous improvements, and ensure top-tier security across all operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Accountable for IT security services across physical and cloud infrastructure
- Ownership, planning, and delivery of all agreed actions assigned and applicable to security
- Develop close working relationships with internal audit and be the primary IT person engaged in all security audits and assessments
- Management of security team
- Ownership of security roadmap which will see you define, deliver, and run robust solutions that allow for rapid detection of faults that could impact service or security
- Work with the Head of Infrastructure and Security in support of merger/acquisition activities and centralisation of security services
- Be self-driven and ambitious in leading their teams on a journey of continual improvement.
- Have a proven capability in managing security services, preferably within an organisation providing payment processing services
- Provide pastoral care to direct reports and talent within their department
- Be timely in completion of administrative obligations for both themselves and their direct reports
Essential Skills Required
- Demonstrable evidence of running security systems and services within an organisation accredited to ISO27001 and PCI DSS.
- Excellent working knowledge of Azure Sentinel and SEIM tool Rapid7.
- Lead participant in cyber leadership teams.
- Excellent project delivery capability with experience delivering in-place system upgrades.
- Excellent working knowledge of security tools, Nessus, Rapid7, DLP, Microsoft Defender.
- Keenness to learn and develop personal skills and set out training programs for their own team.
- Knowledge and experience creating, developing, and maintaining Information Security strategies and roadmaps; producing Cyber Security guidance documentation and training
- Knowledge and experience with EDR, email & remote access security, content filtering (web/email), Cloud Security (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
