Our PayPal, Venmo, and Xoom products also make it safer and simpler for friends and family to transfer funds to each other. We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global

Job Description Summary: Meet The Team

Our field based team of Zettle by PayPal Business Development Managers partner with SMB merchants offering a consultative sales approach within the omni channel space. Your day-to-day

The Business Development Manager is responsible for stimulating demand for PayPal products and services across their territory (Manchester), by increasing awareness and credibility within small business communities.

A hybrid field-based role, responsible for targeting, qualifying and closing SMB single & multi-site operators.

This includes building an extensive network through identification and activation of local partnerships, as well as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers to drive further sales.

Key account acquisition – end to end responsibility of the sales cycle, including identifying strategic new business opportunities within a specific segment/geographical focus.

Achieve monthly Revenue Targets and OKR’s aligned to overall company objectives.

Actively sell a defined portfolio of Zettle/PayPal products to new SMB & Mid-Market customers.

Develop a pipeline of prospective new customers, including self-sourced, referrals from new and existing partners, and ‘connectors’ within a defined Manchester based territory.

Forecasting monthly sales in line with revenue targets, productivity metrics and achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Managing and supporting merchants through the full sales cycle, right from early engagement and discovery, negotiation and contracting, through to implementation and go live.

Demonstrate a strong ability to close the deal while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Salesforce pipeline and report management

Build strong working relationships with internal PayPal teams (Finance, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Product, Risk and Integration) to enable an efficient interaction between PayPal, the merchant and its end users.
