Overview
In this role, you will lead the in-market SMB organization to success, setting a high standard for managed-book growth across the Account Management team. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration, optimize sales processes, and implement best practices at scale. You’ll apply AI to identify growth and retention opportunities, shaping commercial plans and resource allocation. The position offers the chance to influence senior stakeholders and deliver measurable outcomes in a global payments business.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of Account Managers to achieve growth, retention, and productivity targets
- Master the use of AI to assess growth and retention opportunities across the book
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Partner, Vendor, Product, etc.) to remove barriers and improve merchant outcomes
- Monitor team motions and drive targeted process improvements
- Own the commercial plan and resource allocation; represent SMB initiatives to senior stakeholders
- Lead complex projects and initiatives to drive process improvements and business growth
- Collaborate with global teams to implement best practices and ensure consistency
- Analyze business trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales processes
Key requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
