The Company PayPal has been revolutionizing commerce globally for more than 25 years. Creating innovative experiences that make moving money, selling, and shopping simple, personalized, and secure, PayPal empowers consumers and businesses in approximately 200 markets to join and thrive in the global economy. We operate a global, two-sided network at scale that connects hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers.

Job Summary:

About the Role: For SMB merchants running their business on Zettle, you're the person who helps them get more out of what they already have. You'll own the end-to-end commercial relationship for around 250 SMB merchants using Zettle, in a retention and growth role, not new-business. Through cross-sell and upsell across the Zettle/PayPal product suite, you'll help merchants unlock more value from the products they're already using.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate internally to influence process quality and efficiency.
  • Determine appropriate actions and consider alternative solutions.
  • Acquire, manage, and expand relationships with small and medium-sized merchants.
  • Use analytical skills and judgment to recommend best solutions.
  • Influence through defined processes and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

What You'll Do:

  • Be the single point of contact for your Zettle merchants, owning commercial outcomes end to end.
  • Use AI-powered tools and our technology to spot how merchants can retain, grow and use our products more fully.
  • Deliver monthly revenue targets and OKRs aligned to company objectives, and keep pipeline, forecast and portfolio health reporting sharp — sharing what works with fellow Account Managers.
  • Coordinate internally, including with Customer Success, and own a strategic account plan with fresh ideas for attracting new engaged users and growing your existing book.

What You'll Bring — Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of customer relationships and commercial outcomes.

Core Capabilities We're Looking For:

  • Quantifiable examples of retaining and growing an existing book through cross-sell, upsell or wallet-share growth — not new-logo acquisition.
  • Comfortable using data and tools to rank opportunities, focus your time, and step in early on churn or decline risk across a portfolio.
  • A problem-solver who works beyond standard playbooks to reach commercially sound outcomes for existing merchants.
  • A strong internal operator who mobilises partners such as Customer Success, keeps account plans and forecasts sharp, and reliably closes out actions.

Nice to Have — Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience including cross-sell/upsell within an existing account base.
