Overview

In this role, you will acquire new-logo SMB merchants and drive growth by presenting a clear value proposition and transitioning them to the Account Management team. You’ll work across partner platforms, DBM, and AI-suggested leads in a fast-paced environment. You’ll spot opportunities for cross-sell and risk management using AI tools, while maintaining strong merchant relationships. This position offers impact through shaping merchant adoption and revenue growth within a global payments ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire, manage, and expand relationships with SMB merchants
  • Leverage AI-powered insights to identify growth, cross-sell, and risk opportunities
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast, and share best practices with peers
  • Coordinate internal teams to resolve merchant needs and take appropriate action when standard processes fall short
  • Serve as single point of contact for merchants, delivering end-to-end commercial outcomes
  • Prioritize tasks guided by policies and ensure timely completion

Key requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to build trust and conduct effective commercial conversations
  • Proficiency in using AI, data, and playbooks to make trade-offs and escalate when needed
  • Strong collaboration skills and accurate record-keeping of pipeline and follow-ups
  • Experience with merchant onboarding and account servicing is a plus
