Payoneer is looking for a highly talented Business Development Manager to be a member of our Business Development team. The incumbent will be tasked to enable SMBs and professional businesses within Europe to get paid globally with Payoneer’s fast, flexible, secure and low-cost solutions.
Your responsibilities will include developing, assessing and identifying the opportunities in the market and increasing business adoption and market penetration. Working within a dynamic sales environment, you will be responsible for market research, industries penetration, ICP criteria development with an accent on outbound prospecting, qualifying, and recruiting relevant international businesses on the Payoneer platform.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multitasked, high energy environment with an ability to deal with ambiguity. Candidate should possess strong strategic selling ability, that enables him or her to drive engagement with respective stakeholders. He / she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.
What you'll do:
- Impact market segment share by acquiring and onboarding new customers across all verticals.
- Qualify companies and make custom reach outs to the relevant decision makers of the targeted companies.
- Use lead generating, MassEmail, Cold calling and other approaches to access the relevant decision maker.
- Work closely with the SDR team.
- Do own market development within the specified ICP criteria.
- Build own network of customers and partners on the ground.
- Build and grow a strong relationship with each B2B customer you are onboarding.
- Maintain and exceed your own Sales targets which will influence the overall country performance.
- Drive below the line activities to augment customer acquisitions and represent Payoneer in industry forums to drive awareness.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Payoneer services in coordination with the marketing team.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Draft various business reports on a regular basis.
Who you are:
- ~4+ years of business development and management experience, especially in payments, IT, Marketing, etc.
- Experience in working with SMBs is essential.
- Outbound focus sales experience.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding business established goals.
- A fluent English speaker. Additional languages will be considered a bonus.
- Proficiency in the use of email, with strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs and drive results.
- High level of organization and focus and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to see the bigger picture.
The following would be considered a plus for candidates:
- Experience in Affiliates and / or Partnerships activity.
- Experience with direct sales for small businesses engaged in cross-border trade.
