Our client is a leading payments technology company, who are building a successful team in their Hull office. As part of the continued business growth, we are keen to hire an onboarding professional to join the business & lead the team. We are a highly motivated and friendly team, with lots of potential for further growth. This is a back office role, Mon-Fri 9-5, leading a small team and ensuring new customers are onboarded compliantly & within agreed service levels.
About the role
- manage the onboarding process of all new customers and partners, including AML, KYC and account set-ups, working at scale & pace to ensure success
- improve, develop, refine and unify existing processes, and create new ones, to deliver successful, prompt & compliant onboarding
- support commercial teams by communicating best practice when signing up new clients
- develop a plan to make our processes better, quicker and more robust to achieve the best possible service
- manage, motivate, recruit and develop a team of high performance onboarding associates
About you
- you are likely to have a good background in customer onboarding & sales support, preferably within payments, merchant services, acquiring, issuing or processing (although we are happy to look at other financial services, insurance or relates onboarding backgrounds)
- great inter personal skills with brilliant planning & communication abilities, able to work in a high-growth, constantly changing environment
- people / team leadership experience is key, with ability to plan for change & be super organised!
- use your experience of on-boarding to resolve issues, ease concerns and manage escalations
