PaymentGenes is proud to be partnering with a high-growth, international technology organisation to appoint a Senior / Lead UX & Web Designer. This is a strategic design leadership role within a business investing heavily in AI-driven digital experiences. This is not a traditional UX role! You will shape intelligent, scalable digital experiences across web platforms and AI-enabled products — combining deep UX craft, systems thinking, and applied AI capability. As both a hands-on design expert and cross-functional leader, you will influence product direction, experimentation, and experience innovation across the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Define UX strategy aligned with product and business goals
- Lead end-to-end journey design across marketing sites, web apps, and AI-powered products
- Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, human-centred interfaces
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven personalisation and intelligent interaction
- Design conversational interfaces, AI copilots, and intelligent workflows
- Shape UX for AI features (explainability, confidence indicators, feedback loops)
- Rapidly prototype and validate AI-assisted experiences
- Partner with Data and AI teams to align user needs with technical feasibility
- Embed ethical AI principles into product experiences
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing
- Bridge design intent with front-end implementation realities
- Contribute to experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, optimisation)
- Translate research and analytics insights into design improvements
- Lead the evolution of web design systems and component libraries
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG), usability, and performance standards
- Establish UX governance and best practices
- Maintain consistency across responsive web and product interfaces
- Produce high-fidelity prototypes and interaction models
- Design responsive web experiences optimised for conversion and engagement
- Align UX writing and microcopy with brand voice
- Validate designs through testing and iteration

6–10+ years in UX, product design, or digital experience roles. Experience working on AI-enabled or data-driven products. Proven cross-functional leadership. Experience mentoring or guiding other designers.
