PaymentGenes Recruitment is working with a client in the payments and financial services industry who are looking to hire a Finance Manager for a broad, hands-on role within a fast-growing business. This role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant or someone ready to step into a well-rounded finance management position with strong exposure to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly reports
- Support KPI tracking and performance monitoring across the business
- Assist with annual audits and regulatory financial reporting
- Oversee reconciliations and liquidity management across payment accounts, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and card scheme requirements
- Drive automation and efficiency across finance reporting and processes
- Support strategic planning, forecasting, cashflow management, and CFO reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records, finance manuals, and procedures
About You
- Newly qualified or ready to move into a broad finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident managing day-to-day finance tasks with a forward-thinking mindset
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proactive, well-organised, and an effective communicator (fluent in English)
Nice to Have
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Interest in finance automation and reconciliations
