We are looking for an on-call licensed maintenance person with expertise in fixing and maintaining electrical and mechanical items, for our hotel in Torquay.
Mission for Maintenance Person
To fix damaged items and to maintain items that are starting to show signs of weakening in order to add to the items’ longevity and minimize the cost of reactive maintenance. Assist with set-up of new properties: flat-pack furniture, curtains/blinds, applying wallpaper, hanging wall decor. Maintain the gardens and outside areas of properties.
Outcomes
- Fix all items reported as requiring attention
- Identify and repair any items that are starting to give in
- Provide a quick turn-around for setting up of new properties - collaborate closely with Setup Manager for doing so
- Gardens to look fully tidy and clean at all times
- Paved areas/slabs to be weed-free at all times
- Log number of maintenance issues originating from guests - communicate information to Property Manager
- Communicate the numbers of complaints if confronted to the Property Manager
