Our Vision & Mission AI is rewriting how enterprises run. Payflows is the platform making it happen. The world’s largest companies are held back by complexity - disconnected systems, slow approvals, and manual workflows across Finance, Procurement and Operations. Payflows is building the AI-native Finance OS for enterprise - connecting every process, person, and system so work just flows. Approvals route automatically, payments execute intelligently and leaders gain real-time visibility into how, when and why payments are made. In a world where speed, control and intelligence define competitive advantage, Payflows enables global enterprises to operate with precision - powered by AI. One intelligent platform, endless possibilities.

Why Join Us? This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build the future of enterprise AI. At Payflows, you won’t just be part of another tech company - you’ll be helping enterprises transform how they operate. Joining now means joining early: influencing how fortune-level customers adopt AI across Finance, Procurement and Operations, working alongside an elite team of builders and sellers who thrive on impact. If you’re ambitious, analytical, and driven to work on problems that matter, where every conversation is strategic and every win redefines how enterprises run, then Payflows is where you’ll do your career-defining work. We have the mantra at Payflows of extreme autonomy; if you want something, and it's rational, we make it happen.

In this role, you're the CEO of North America tasked with achieving growth. You build the strategy. You execute the strategy. If you crush this, many more opportunities await you.

Context - we want the next Michael Jordan: We’re seeing massive traction in the UK/Europe and US — and you will be one of the very first boots on the ground in New York. You’ll be backed by a growing team of 2 SDRs (based in London) and a tight-knit sales crew spread between Paris, London and beyond. We’re selling a B2B SaaS platform designed for finance leaders — CFOs, Heads of Treasury, VPs of Finance — to help them manage everything from procurement to treasury, all in one place. It’s a strategic, value-driven sale with a typical cycle of around 3 months.

Your mission: You’ll lead and achieve ambitious sales targets by driving new logo acquisition from start to finish. You’ll own every stage of the sales process, from identifying opportunities to signing contracts, while ensuring each engagement is strategic, consultative and aligned with our customer’s business priorities. You’ll manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with some of the most sophisticated enterprises. You’ll work with CFOs, Finance VPs, Procurement and Treasury leaders to demonstrate how Payflows’ AI-native platform can transform the way their organisations operate, from procurement to treasury - in one unified system.

You’ll build and scale a consistent pipeline generation engine, taking ownership of your territory and proactively creating new opportunities. You’ll combine structured outbound with creative, data-driven prospecting to consistently fuel growth and exceed your targets. You’ll plan your pipeline activities strategically, balancing short-term wins with long-term opportunities that support sustainable company growth. You’ll think like an operator, not just a salesperson, forecasting accurately, prioritising intelligently, and driving momentum across multiple deals at once. You’ll take a data-driven approach to execution, leveraging tools like HubSpot and automation platforms to track progress, monitor conversion rates, and identify what’s working — and what’s not. You’ll always be iterating, refining, and optimising your approach for maximum efficiency.

You’ll build deep relationships with key stakeholders at every level of the customer organisation — from operational users to C-level executives across Finance, IT, and Business functions. You’ll earn trust quickly by listening, understanding their challenges, and positioning Payflows as a long-term strategic partner. You’ll become an expert in Payflows’ value proposition, mastering how to tell our story with conviction and clarity. You’ll run tailored demonstrations that connect with both the technical and strategic sides of the business, showing exactly how our AI-powered platform delivers impact. You’ll act as an ambassador for Payflows, representing the brand at leading financial and enterprise events, building credibility in the market, and helping us grow awareness within the global finance and technology community. You’ll collaborate closely with our BDRs and broader commercial team to develop winning strategies, troubleshoot challenges, and continuously improve how we approach the market. You’ll be part of a culture where feedback, learning, and iteration are part of the everyday rhythm.

Requirements: Who you are: You come from a background in consulting, investment banking, or enterprise SaaS sales, and you’ve learned how to think strategically, communicate with precision, and navigate complex organisations. You understand business at a deep level — how decisions get made, where value is created, and what truly drives enterprise change. You’ve already spent 6+ years closing enterprise deals at a challenger company, not a household name — you’ve built trust and credibility from scratch. You know how to sell without a big brand behind you, and you’ve thrived by being resourceful, creative, and relentless in your pursuit of results. You have a strong grasp of accounting and finance fundamentals, giving you the ability to engage confidently with CFOs, Finance Directors, and Treasury teams. You don’t need to be an accountant — but you speak their language, understand their challenges, and can translate Payflows’ value into measurable financial impact.

You’ve run full-cycle sales processes from origination through close, managing every stage with precision. From prospecting and discovery to demos, negotiation, and contract signature — you know how to control the process, qualify rigorously, and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You’re familiar with structured sales methodologies like MEDDIC, and you know how to apply them pragmatically — not mechanically. You use frameworks to stay disciplined and forecast accurately, but you also adapt them to fit the fast, fluid reality of a startup environment. You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken, and can communicate with clarity and influence across every level of an organisation. French is a plus — but what matters most is your ability to build trust, convey value, and handle executive conversations with ease.

Your Skills: You’ve thrived in a challenger environment, building momentum and closing deals without the advantage of big-name brand recognition. You know how to open doors, create trust, and win business purely through the strength of your pitch, persistence, and value creation. You’ve sold into large, complex enterprises — organisations with thousands of employees and billions in revenue. You’re comfortable navigating matrixed decision-making, handling procurement processes, and closing deals of at least €500k ARR that involve multiple layers of approval. You’re skilled at managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles, balancing the priorities and perspectives of Finance, Procurement, IT, and Operations to keep deals moving forward. You know how to bring everyone to alignment and create consensus across functions. You’ve consistently built your own pipeline, not just relied on inbound leads or SDR handovers. You take pride in being proactive — sourcing opportunities, nurturing relationships, and turning outreach into real commercial results. You’ve sold to the office of the CFO, engaging with personas like Procurement Leaders, Finance Directors, and Treasury Managers. You understand their world — their pain points, language, and decision-making process — and you know how to position a strategic solution that resonates with each of them. You’re confident running your own demos end-to-end, without needing to lean on a solutions engineer. You can tailor your presentation to both technical and non-technical audiences, bringing clarity and conviction to complex topics while showing exactly how the product delivers value. You know the landscape inside out, experience with Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Ivalua or Oracle.

You get the startup mindset: you’re hungry, eager to learn and don’t mind getting your hands dirty. You stop at nothing short of exceptional: whether that’s in work, education, sports or selling! You’re an exceptional communicator: you communicate effectively and efficiently, and build rapport effortlessly to influence and drive change, whether it’s with C-suite execs or interns.

Our non-negotiables: Resilience - We’re on a multi-decade mission to reinvent enterprise finance. You embrace hard problems and thrive in the fight. Hunger - You push yourself (and the company) to raise the bar and maximise impact. Trustworthiness - You take ownership, solve problems and “get it done” with minimal guidance.
