PayFit is hiring! You can work on this role from any place in the UK (our office is in London).
Your mission:
- Own the creation and maintenance of internal and external documentation related to regulatory changes (Help Centre articles, release notes, internal knowledge base).
- Prepare and host customer and prospect-facing webinars on payroll topics in partnership with Marketing.
- Review blog posts, marketing content, and press materials related to UK payroll to ensure accuracy.
Deep knowledge of UK payroll and HR legislation: at least 8 years of hands-on payroll experience. A CIPP qualification is a strong plus.
Payroll software experience: at least 2 years in a comparable role at a payroll software provider (e.g. writing specifications, performing payroll testing, supporting product teams). You have implemented solutions, not just advised on them.
Excellent communication: ability to document and explain complex legislative requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Risk-based prioritisation: you know how to prioritise based on actual risks to the company and its customers, rather than solely on regulatory requirements.
Multitasking: the ability to manage requests from Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales, organising your schedule meticulously and switching context effectively.
Experience engaging with HMRC or industry bodies to influence regulatory interpretation.
Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to explore how they can support compliance workflows.
Maximum ownership: you are the sole person responsible for UK product compliance - full decision-making authority and direct impact on the product.
