The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our growing team. As a Product Designer at Paydock, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our cutting-edge payment orchestration platform. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, translating complex requirements into intuitive designs, and working collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional products that delight our users.

Key Responsibilities
- User Research & Understanding: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to deeply understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points within the payment landscape.
- Concept & Ideation: Translate user research and business requirements into innovative design concepts, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design Execution: Create high-fidelity mockups and visual designs that adhere to our brand guidelines and design system, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience across all touchpoints.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to define product requirements and roadmaps, and collaborate with Engineers to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation of designs.
- Prototyping & Testing: Develop interactive prototypes to test design concepts and gather feedback, iterating on designs based on user feedback and analytical data.
- Design System Contribution: Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency in our design processes.
- Advocacy: Champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization, fostering a culture of empathy and innovation.
- Communication: Clearly articulate design decisions, rationale, and trade-offs to various stakeholders, both verbally and visually.
What You\βll Bring
- 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, preferably in a SaaS, FinTech, or B2B product environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc)
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- A passion for solving complex problems and creating elegant, intuitive solutions.
