The Paydens Group of Pharmacies is a proud, family-owned business established in 1969. From our first pharmacy in a small village, we’ve grown to over 90 locations across the South East, employing more than 1,000 dedicated team members, while keeping family values at the heart of everything we do.
We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants to join our fast-paced private pharmacy at Heathrow Airport, a truly unique environment. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of one of the busiest travel hubs in the world, delivering safe, professional pharmacy services to a diverse and constantly changing customer base. If you thrive in an environment that moves quickly, values high standards, and enjoy working as part of a team, this is the role for you.
As a Healthcare Assistant at Heathrow, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and effective pharmacy services while maintaining excellent customer service standards at all times. You will play a key role in ensuring professional compliance, managing risk, supporting the pharmacy team, and helping to maximise sales while minimising waste. You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager, Health Care Assistants and the Relay Lagardere management team to support the smooth day to day running of the branch.
What you will be doing:
- Providing safe, accurate and efficient private pharmacy services
- Ensuring compliance with GPhC standards, legislation, and company policies
- Taking responsibility for your own professional development
- Supporting and coaching the pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer service
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and identifying risks to patient safety
- Managing stock effectively to meet demand and reduce waste
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and confidently
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times
- Supporting staff wellbeing and contributing to a positive team culture
What we are looking for:
- Strong professional judgement with a clear focus on patient safety
- Confident communicator who enjoys customer interaction and working with different stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a busy, high footfall environment
- Organised, calm under pressure, and commercially aware
- A team player who leads by example
Why Heathrow:
This is not a typical pharmacy role. You will work with a wide range of customers from across the world, in an environment that is fast paced, structured, and professionally run. The shift patterns offer consistency and clear structure, and the role provides exposure to a highly operational, customer focused setting.
Shifts available:
Shifts across Monday to Sunday 05:30-22:00
If you are looking for a role that will keep you engaged, challenged, and proud of the service you deliver, this is a great opportunity.
