About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our growing team in the Scottish Highlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to take a leading role in the delivery of complex civil engineering and utilities projects across a diverse portfolio, including:
- Wind Farms
- Substations and Major Cabling Works
- Highways and Infrastructure Projects
- Marine and Energy-Related Civils Schemes
You will play a key part in managing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and programme objectives are achieved while maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and your site team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site activities in line with project programmes and company standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to achieve project targets
- Provide accurate progress reporting and maintain excellent communication with senior management and clients
- Drive a culture of performance, safety, and continuous improvement across the site
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (essential)
- Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer on Civils and/or Utilities projects
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of infrastructure works – wind, energy, marine, or highways experience advantageous
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to work across the Highlands region
