We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service & Operations Administrator to join a busy and growing logistics operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual looking to secure a long-term position with a well-established company. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with an initial 12-week probationary period before the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries
- Booking jobs onto the company's operating system
- Uploading and managing PODs (Proofs of Delivery)
- Handling customer queries via email and pallet network platforms
- Liaising with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Providing general administrative support to the operations team
Requirements
- Previous administration and/or customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident IT user with experience of Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
