Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated HGV Technician to join the team at their Inverness depot.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete all relevant workshop documentation
  • Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Support vehicle testing and compliance requirements
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
