We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a busy maintenance team within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical/mechanical engineer who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and improving plant reliability while working with modern production equipment.
The Role
You'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Working alongside production teams, you'll help maximise equipment uptime and ensure all plant and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on production equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings for fault finding and repairs.
- Assist with PLC fault diagnosis where required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety legislation.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
Essential
- Time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical).
- C&G, NVQ or equivalent engineering qualification.
- Current Electrical Regulations qualification (18th Edition or equivalent).
- Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

- Motor controls
- Temperature and pressure control systems
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings and mechanical drives
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Good IT skills.
Desirable
- Siemens S7 PLC experience.
- SCADA / Wonderware experience.
- Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
- Soft starters.
- Steam and boiler systems.
- High Voltage (11k V) experience.
- Welding, grinding and fabrication skills.
