We’re partnering with a well-established hydraulics and precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to take full ownership of quality systems and performance across a CNC-driven manufacturing environment. This role sits at the heart of the operation, working closely with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory and internal quality standards, while supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement.

The Role

  • Own, manage and continually develop the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • Lead all internal non-conformities and customer complaints, including Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions
  • Manage and develop quality control processes for supplier, in-house and final product inspection
  • Ensure all manufactured products meet customer specifications and compliance requirements
  • Plan and conduct internal audits in line with the agreed audit schedule
  • Produce monthly reports against business quality objectives and departmental KPIs
  • Partner with operations and engineering to support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in manufacturing or precision engineering (hydraulics and CNC experience highly desirable)
  • Excellent working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
  • Proven experience managing non-conformities, corrective actions and customer complaints
  • Detail-driven, structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across the business
  • Confident using Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis
