Site Agent / Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Site Agent / Site Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of civil engineering projects.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site operations and construction activities.
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Resolve site issues and ensure work is completed to specification.
  • Keep accurate site records and documentation.
  • Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Site Agent, Site Manager or similar role within civil engineering.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of construction methods and health & safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • Relevant construction or engineering qualification (preferred)
