You'll work closely with senior management, operational teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to build competitive bids that win work and shape the future growth of the business. The Role
As part of our estimating team, you'll be involved in the full tendering process from enquiry through to submission. Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tender documentation and assessing project requirements.
- Producing accurate take‑offs and Bills of Quantities.
- Obtaining and evaluating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Building detailed cost plans covering labour, plant, materials, and subcontract packages.
- Working alongside planning and operational teams to develop practical delivery programmes.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities within tender submissions.
- Supporting value engineering initiatives and alternative construction solutions.
- Preparing tender reports, pricing summaries, and submission documentation.
- Participating in tender review meetings and bid strategy discussions.
- Attending site visits, client meetings, and pre‑tender engagements where required.

- Experience in estimating within civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, groundworks, utilities, or related sectors.
