About the role
You will be joining our team based in our Eastbourne Manufacturing centre, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, test and packing of Paxton products. Please note this role is being offered on a fixed term contract basis of 6 months.
- Assemble and pack products with precision, following work orders and factory instructions.
- Perform controlled electronics encapsulation (potting) on the line, following specified flow rates and timing.
- Transferring stock between departments using manual handling equipment or a forklift truck (when licensed).
- Picking and packing orders for despatch.
- Replenishment of Kanban's for flowlines.
- Cycle counting stock and assisting with stock checks as necessary.
- Packing products to work order and Factory Instructions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly line efficiency and processes.
Working hours
This is an early shift position with the hours Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 14:45pm and Friday 6:30am - 13:20pm.
What are we looking for?
- Be able to adapt in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
- Any previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing is beneficial.
- Basic IT literacy skills.
