Regional Business Partner, EMEA — 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT. Step in, shape strategy, deliver change. Pax8 is hiring a Regional Business Partner (EMEA). This is a hybrid role, ideally looking for 3 days a week in our amazing Pax8 offices in Bristol or Farnborough. A 6-month contract opportunity to help shape a modern, high-impact people strategy in our AI-powered marketplace.

Why this role is worth your attention

You’ll partner closely with senior leaders across EMEA to evolve how we support managers, grow talent, and create healthier, higher-performing teams. And as Pax8 accelerates our AI journey, you’ll help leaders and colleagues navigate change at pace — combining sharp people craft with pragmatic, commercially-minded advice.

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic partnering & coaching — building strong relationships with leaders, diagnosing needs quickly, and helping them make confident, people-first decisions.
  • Leadership support — coaching leaders through performance conversations, team dynamics, and complex situations with clarity and care.
  • Change leadership — supporting teams through organisational change, strengthening engagement and adoption while balancing compliance and practical realities.
  • Workforce planning & talent conversations — shaping workforce strategy, spotting capability gaps, supporting succession planning, and helping leaders elevate talent the right way.
  • People insights — using data and trends to inform decisions around retention, reward, wellbeing, hiring strategy, and team effectiveness.
  • Employee relations & risk — guiding leaders through sensitive cases with integrity, consistency, and a strong understanding of local requirements.

The impact you’ll have

You’ll help shift the business from reactive support to proactive partnership — enabling leaders to lead better, plan smarter, and develop talent more intentionally. This role will help create clearer structure, stronger collaboration across People functions globally, and a people strategy that scales with the business.

What we’re looking for

  • Substantial experience in a strategic People Operations / HR Business Partnering role, ideally within a fast-paced, scaling organisation.
  • Desirable: understanding of Dutch employment law and Dutch language skills (amazing to have, not essential).
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, coach leaders, and drive outcomes through trust-based partnering.
  • Confidence supporting new and developing managers — helping them build capability and step into stronger leadership habits.
  • Considerable experience in change management, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, and talent development.
  • Strong grounding in employee relations and people risk — able to navigate complex issues with fairness, clarity, and good judgement.
  • Comfort using people data and insights to guide decisions and shape priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset — someone who builds bridges across teams and shares best practice across regions.
  • A style that’s pragmatic, human, and adaptable — you’re not rigid or overly corporate, and you know how to meet stakeholders where they are.
