Overview
At Pax8 we’re looking for a Microsoft Support Engineer to join our Global Partner Support team in our Bristol office. The role is focused on troubleshooting, collaborating across teams and delivering exceptional partner experiences. As a trusted technical partner, you will solve complex challenges and keep our marketplace platform running seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first escalation and troubleshooting point for vendor solutions (e.g., Microsoft), owning investigation and issue resolution for product problems that impact partners.
- Triage incoming support cases, working with Tier 2 specialists to ensure timely and effective resolution of complex issues.
- Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles while identifying recurring problems and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams on long‑term improvements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for partners, providing clear updates, managing expectations, and ensuring a positive support experience.
- Build strong relationships with partners and cross‑functional internal teams to deliver seamless support.
- Stay current with platform updates, industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve and grow.
Qualifications
- Advanced technical support experience, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of key technologies used by MSPs and marketplace vendors, especially Microsoft. Experience with CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Bitdefender, BitTitan, or similar is a plus.
- Experience supporting Managed Services Providers (MSPs) or partner‑driven ecosystems preferred.
- Familiarity with marketplace platforms and operations such as orders, billing and migrations.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Teams for communication.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, able to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to balance immediate fixes with sustainable long‑term solutions.
- Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
- Residency in the United Kingdom with a valid right to work.
