About Pawsome Adventures
Pawsome Adventures is seeking a reliable and attentive Dog Walker to join our team. You will walk up to six dogs on and off the lead, cover long distances in all kinds of weather, and provide safe and enjoyable walks for dogs of all breeds and sizes. A genuine love and understanding for dogs is essential; no prior experience is required. You must hold a full clean UK driving licence (car or van) and live locally or near the Chelsea or Battersea area. The role is for those who want a long‑term, permanent position with a reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and enjoyable walks for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Manage multiple dogs and maintain control during group walks.
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs.
- Be professional and friendly when communicating with clients.
- Pay attention to detail, focusing on the dogs' safety and wellbeing.
- Report any health or behavioural concerns observed during walks.
- Provide a reliable, punctual service and uphold a strong sense of responsibility.
- Walk for extended periods and maintain the physical fitness required.
Requirements
- Availability Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 2 pm) and Saturday mornings (10 am – 12 pm).
- Full, clean UK driving licence with no fault claims or points.
- Clean background check and references upon request.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer‑service attitude.
- Enjoyable interaction with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
- Fit and active with the ability to walk for extended periods.
- Smartphone with internet access at all times.
- Right to work in the UK and DBS check, if applicable.
