Our business has been established for over 7 years and has been awarded the highest standard star rating 5. At Paws Indoors, we believe that every dog deserves a fun and safe environment to play and socialise. As a Doggy Daycare Team Member, you will be an integral part of creating that experience for our furry guests. We have a flexible role available with variable hours, meaning from week to week they will change given the needs of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and interact with dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Organise and lead engaging activities, such as group play sessions, walks, and mental stimulation exercises.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly sanitising play areas and equipment.
- Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to the management team.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to our policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Genuine love and understanding of dogs, with a commitment to their welfare and happiness.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and maintaining control in group settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in animal care is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
- Have a full clean manual drivers license.
- You must have Level 3 Animal Management Qualification or equivalent.
