Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and interact with dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Organize and lead engaging activities, such as group play sessions, walks, and mental stimulation exercises.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly sanitizing play areas and equipment.
  • Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to the management team.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or requests.
  • Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to our policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • You must have Level 3 Animal Management Qualification or equivalent.
  • Full Clean Manual Drivers License - and have driven for at least 4 years.
  • Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and maintaining control in group settings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in animal care is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Hours:

This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for a flexible role. We can offer a range of hours from 16 hours - 30 hours. Ideally looking for a staff member willing to cover last minute and be flexible in terms of working shifts.
