House & Pet Sitters in London

This is a live-in house & pet sitting role and is not suitable for applicants seeking hourly, drop-in or occasional work.

Paws Galore Pet Sitters are looking for reliable, experienced house & pet sitters to join our ever-expanding team of professional sitters across London.

This role is ideal for retired or semi-retired individuals or couples, or those who work from home, and who are happy to spend extended periods caring for pets in clients\’ homes.

You must be a huge animal lover with proven experience (personal and/or professional) caring for dogs and cats. You should also be clean and tidy, respectful of clients\’ homes, trustworthy, and highly reliable.

Sitters work on a self-employed basis and must have their own mobile phone with internet and email access. A basic police disclosure (DBS) is required (or willingness to obtain one).

The Role

If successful, you will be offered live-in house & pet sitting assignments across London, typically lasting 3–14 days.

During each assignment you will:

• Live in the client\’s home
• Follow the pets\’ normal daily routine
• Provide walking, feeding, playtime, brushing and plenty of cuddles
• Maintain the cleanliness and security of the home

You will usually have some allocated time away from the property each day, depending on the pets\’ needs.

Daily fees vary and depend on the intensity of the sit.

What We\’re Looking For

• Significant experience owning and/or caring for dogs and cats
• Calm, confident and responsible around animals
• Able to commit fully to live-in assignments
• Comfortable working independently
• Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays)
• Based in or able to travel easily within London
