- What you'll be doing
- Delivering high-quality grooming services including bathing, brushing, de‑matting, clipping, nail trimming, ear cleaning and styling.
- Providing breed‑specific and personalised grooming tailored to each dog's individual needs.
- Creating calm, positive experiences for all dogs, particularly those who are anxious, nervous or require extra patience and understanding.
- Carrying out welfare checks during appointments and highlighting any health concerns to owners.
- Building trusted relationships with clients through consultations and expert aftercare advice.
- Managing appointments efficiently while maintaining exceptional grooming standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional grooming environment.
- Caring for and maintaining grooming equipment and tools.
What we're looking for
- Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming.
- Minimum 2 years' professional dog grooming experience.
- Proven experience working confidently and compassionately with anxious, nervous or reactive dogs is essential.
- Excellent breed‑specific grooming knowledge.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently while also being a positive team player.
- Calm, organised and professional approach in a busy environment.
- Physical ability to safely handle dogs of varying sizes and stand for extended periods.
