Lead Veterinary Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities
Typical Services you will be delivering:
- Physiotherapy Assessment and Treatment.
- Therapeutic Exercise.
- Radiofrequency Therapy.
- Photobiomodulation Therapy (LASER).
- Hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill therapy).
- Wellness Assessments.
- Advanced Gait Analysis.
- Canine Massage.
- Canine Conditioning.
- Pain management (led by a pain specialist).
As the Lead Veterinary Physiotherapist, you will oversee and enhance the delivery of the following services:
- Provide and lead clinical and professional outpatient veterinary physiotherapy services for clients and their pets, ensuring a seamless and memorable journey at every touchpoint.
- Lead and oversee a unique and engaging pet wellness journey.
- Provide clients with expert and comprehensive advice and education.
- Provide and lead rehabilitation for pets with orthopaedic and/or neurological conditions in addition to proactive healthcare services to optimise the health of our pets.
- Lead and Overseeing pet supervision from kennel care to rehabilitation and fitness classes.
- Prepare, organise, and deliver pet-related documentation with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure a welcoming, home-like environment.
- Participate in delivering physiotherapy-based learning for in-house colleagues and contribute to internal and external CPD (Continuing Professional Development) events.
- Fulfil CPD requirements in line with the recommendations of your governing body, tailored to both personal and business development needs.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Wellness advisers (RVN), Hydrotherapists, Groomers, Veterinary Behaviourists and Pain Management Clinicians.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Category A Member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT) and/or
- Member of the Register for Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).
- 2 years\’ experience in small animal veterinary physiotherapy.
- Hydrotherapy (Underwater Treadmill Therapy) experience is desirable.
