Skills/Experience required – Essential:

• Degree level 2.1 or higher in Computing, Maths, Engineering or other technical subject.
• At least 5 years solid technical experience using in C# (WPF and ASP.Net ) this will have ideally been gained in the investment sector.
• Solid knowledge of T-SQL, Strong knowledge of SQL, particularly in MS-SQL server environment.
• Experience building/using relational databases and writing advanced queries
• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
• Report writing/design experience (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, PowerBI etc.)
• Experience with MS Office automation
• Understand job scheduling and batching (eg TWS)
• Experience with implementing Continuous Integration
• Familiar with company fundamental/financial and market data.

Skills/Experience required – Preferred:

• Familiarity with financial instruments and markets, particularly in an asset management context
• Familiarity with integration frameworks (eg MS SSIS, SAG webMethods).
• Knowledge of Infragistics controls and NHibernate/Hibernate
• Knowledge of other programming languages
• Experience with MS Office automation
• Ability to write Shell Scripts, familiarity with Windows and Unix operating systems
• Experience with implementing continuous integration for automatic testing and deployment
