Skills/Experience required - Essential:
- Degree level 2.1 or higher in Computing, Maths, Engineering or other technical subject.
- At least 5 years solid technical experience using C# (WPF and ASP.Net), ideally gained in the investment sector.
- Solid knowledge of T-SQL.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, particularly in MS-SQL server environment.
- Experience building/using relational databases and writing advanced queries.
- Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
- Report writing/design experience (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, PowerBI etc.).
- Experience with MS Office automation.
- Understand job scheduling and batching (e.g. TWS).
- Experience with implementing Continuous Integration.
- Familiar with company fundamental/financial and market data.
Skills/Experience required - Preferred:
- Familiarity with financial instruments and markets, particularly in an asset management context.
- Familiarity with integration frameworks (e.g. MS SSIS, SAG webMethods).
- Knowledge of Infragistics controls and NHibernate/Hibernate.
- Knowledge of other programming languages.
- Ability to write Shell Scripts, familiarity with Windows and Unix operating systems.
