The Finance Analyst supports the financial management of international projects through accurate reporting, cost analysis and financial administration.
Based in the UK and reporting to the International Finance Ops Controller, the role is hands‑on and analytical, supporting reporting, billing, labour reporting, Work in Progress (WIP) reconciliation and month‑end activities.
The successful candidate will gain a strong understanding of project finance while contributing to process improvements and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple reporting tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the International Finance Operations Controller with day-to-day finance activities and reporting
- Review and update estimated project costs on a monthly basis using information provided by regional managers
- Prepare detailed project cost and billing reports, providing visibility into project financial performance
- Update and distribute the weekly Install Revenue Tracker, ensuring reporting is accurate and delivered on time
- Follow up on project cost transfer requests, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion and appropriate documentation
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial data across reporting tools and systems
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and support initiatives to streamline financial reporting
- Assist with month‑end close activities, ensuring project cost, revenue and P&L reporting is accurate and complete
- Support the automation of recurring reports and continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team
- Reconcile Work in Progress (WIP) reports against contract values, investigating and resolving discrepancies where appropriate
- Produce weekly labour hour reporting, ensuring labour costs are allocated correctly and downtime is monitored accurately
- Work collaboratively with Finance and Operations teams across multiple international regions to resolve reporting queries and maintain accurate project financial information.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Previous experience in a finance, accounting or analytical support role
- Experience working with project costing, financial reporting or billing would be advantageous
- Experience supporting international or multi‑site operations is desirable.
- Experience in security systems, construction, engineering services, or similar project led industries is an advantage.
This is a hybrid role operating within a multi country remit.
A degree of flexibility may be required to support colleagues across different time zones.
The role involves regular collaboration within a fast-paced, collaborative setting, working in office 2-3 days a week, supporting leadership (UK based).
