I am very pleased to be supporting my client in the recruitment of a Treasury manager on a 9 month FTC basis. My client are an award winning London Market Insurance broker. This role is to provide cover for the team whilst they work on an ongoing project. The hybrid model is 2 days office and 3 days home. The office is based in the City (EC3). Please find an overview of the role below. Role overview: Lead the cashflow forecasting to assess funding needs and manage total borrowings Prepare and analyse weekly cashflow reports for senior finance management Monitor group cash balances, optimising excess cash for investment, growth, or debt reduction Support investment activity, including funding recommendations for M&A Manage banking systems, debt facility drawdowns and repayments, and optimise interest income returns Lead interest rate risk management, including hedging recommendations and forecasting interest costs Monitor market movements and assess impacts on cashflows and leverage expectations Provide technical oversight of foreign exchange exposure, hedging strategy, and related reporting Work closely with the business to align FX hedging levels with forecast cashflows Review, challenge, and streamline treasury processes and forecasting methodologies Manage relationships with banks and lenders, ensuring compliance with facility agreements Experience: Demonstrable Treasury experience Insurance or Financial Services experience would be ideal Capable of working in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to use initiative
