A leading Lloyd's insurer is looking to appoint an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst on a 9-month fixed-term contract to support a busy period of growth, planning activity, and business transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with Lloyd's market experience to join a highly regarded finance team and work closely with underwriting, actuarial, reinsurance, and executive leadership teams. The role offers significant exposure across the business and the opportunity to make an immediate impact through high-quality financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering.
Joining a collaborative and commercially focused FP&A function, you'll play a key role in delivering financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and Lloyd's regulatory reporting. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing insight that supports strategic decision-making and business performance. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong stakeholder relationships, and translating complex financial data into meaningful commercial insight.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Supporting the annual planning and forecasting processes across the business
- Producing insightful financial analysis, performance reporting, and management information
- Partnering with underwriting teams to understand performance drivers, market trends, and business plans
- Leading the preparation and coordination of Lloyd's QMB submissions
- Delivering monthly and quarterly reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
- Supporting executive, board, and business review reporting requirements
- Developing and enhancing reporting capabilities through Power BI and finance systems
- Providing ad hoc commercial analysis and scenario modelling to support business decisions
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Previous experience within the Lloyd's insurance market
- Strong FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering experience
- Taken ownership of QMB production
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting tools
