An established insurer seeks a skilled claims specialist to enhance its claims team and uphold a top-tier service for policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity partners. The role demands practical experience in cyber and technology claims management. You will work alongside an internal Incident Response team and manage relationships with external partners including forensic experts, legal advisors, and PR firms, to deliver efficient and effective responses to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of cyber and technology claims from initial notification through to settlement, operating within delegated authorities.
- Collaborate closely with incident response vendors to coordinate timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring excellent service throughout the claims cycle.
- Maintain accurate reserving practices, identify relevant third-party recoveries, and actively reduce claims leakage.
- Provide insight and feedback to Underwriting and Product teams on claims trends and product development.
- Comply fully with regulatory and statutory requirements relevant to the Lloyd’s and FCA frameworks.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in cyber claims handling, with an understanding of incident and forensic investigation processes.
- Strong capability in prioritising urgent claims issues and deadlines, including legal demands and claim queries.
- Excellent relationship management skills developed in client-facing roles within insurance or consultancy.
