Pavilion are partnered with a market leading specialist insurance provider on their search for a Professional Indemnity Claims Adjuster to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for managing a variety of PI claims for Engineers, Professional Services, Recruiters, Design and Construction professionals from FNOL to settlement. You will also work closely with the wider claims team, along with several vendor specialists including forensic, legal and PR. Our client is keen to speak with experienced professional indemnity claims adjusters/brokers/solicitors to join their reputable claims team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Proactively handle Professional Indemnity claims in accordance with the claims handling guidelines from FNOL to settlement (including coverage, legal liability and quantum analysis) within the scope of the delegated authorities.
- Foster good relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers, and drive excellent customer service.
- Ensure that there is a prompt claims response.
- Handle claims to ensure there is prompt and accurate reserving, identifying and pursuing relevant third-party recoveries and seeking to reduce claims leakage.
- The ability to prioritise where necessary, identifying deadlines such as those stipulated within lawsuits, demand letters and in addressing claims queries.
