The opportunity
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced paraplanner to join the dynamic and growing Wealth Management business, who are a highly successful Senior Partner Practice at St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc.
St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of investment and retirement products and financial solutions to a high net worth client base. St. James’s Place Wealth Management has funds under management in excess of £198.2bn.
The practice has been highly successful and experienced year on year growth since it was established 25 years ago and currently managing £200m+ funds under management. This role forms a key part of the Practice’s strategic growth plan, focused on enhancing client outcomes and increasing funds under management. The role
As the Paraplanner, you will be the go-to individual for advice on technical queries and your duties will focus on covering the full client journey, including conducting research to source suitable solutions; completing detailed and informative reports and liaising with the Administration team to ensure business is accurately processed and systems are correctly updated.
About You
- You will have knowledge of and demonstrable experience in an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
- You will be articulate, numerical and have extensive experience of complex Inheritance Tax Planning, Pensions (including transfers and Decumulation), Investments, Protection and cash flow modelling as well as composing accurate suitability letters.
- You must be able to show initiative, have excellent IT skills and be a strong communicator. You will need to be self-motivated and comfortable to manage your workload.
- As you will have contact with clients, it is essential that you are professional and confident in dealing with third parties, have excellent communication skills and can work with total discretion.
