We are partnering with an ambitious and growing MGA that is looking to expand its UK Liability team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist underwriting environment with a strong focus on Construction Liability across a broad range of trades and industry sectors.
The Role
- Underwriting new and renewal business within agreed authority levels
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and trading partners
- Actively promoting the MGA’s Liability proposition within the market
- Assessing risk, setting policy terms, and calculating premiums in line with internal guidelines and insurer binding authority agreements
Experience Required
- At least 3 years’ experience underwriting Contractors Liability insurance
- Proven experience handling high-risk and/or hard-to-place Liability risks (advantageous)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident relationship builder with the ability to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships
