My client, a growing Lloyd’s insurer, is seeking an Assistant Corporate Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in their London office. The ideal candidate will have completed their AAT qualification and/or be actively studying towards a professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA. Experience in treasury or investment accounting and reporting is highly desirable.
Key Accountabilities
- Take ownership of all daily banking operations
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Supervisor to efficiently resolve payment discrepancies and employee expense issues
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking and investment partners
- Coordinate closely with the outsourced treasury team to ensure seamless operations
- Manage daily cash flow activities and monitor liquidity positions
- Support the development of long-term cash flow forecasts
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly cash flow stress testing
- Prepare, post, and reconcile investment journals in Oracle Fusion
- Assist in compiling quarterly treasury reports for the Managing Agency Board
- Complete Lloyd’s investment reporting requirements, including QAD, AAD, and QMA submissions
- Support Lloyd’s annual principles process related to treasury and liquidity management
- Assist with Lloyd’s quarterly coming-into-line process
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual group reporting pack
- Support the Syndicate distribution process
- Liaise with external auditors in a professional and timely manner
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed
About you
- Completed AAT and/or studying towards professional qualification
- At least 1 year experience working in a finance function
