We are seeking a multi-faceted Senior Paraplanner to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with dedicated financial advisers to manage both new business generation and comprehensive client servicing. This is a highly collaborative position requiring sharp technical skills, proactive communication, and the ability to navigate complex, high-net-worth client cases smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Analysis & Advice Preparation
- Investigate and assess client financial circumstances to identify critical needs and risks.
- Gather and analyse external information to build deep, precise reviews of client financial positions.
- Formulate strategic proposals by conducting detailed market research and compiling compliant documentation.
- Draft comprehensive summaries and formal suitability reports outlining specific client recommendations.
- Construct detailed cashflow models to illustrate and support complex financial scenarios.
- Execute technical calculations including pension annual allowance/carry forward, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and lifetime allowance options.
- File Management & Compliance
- Build compliant advice files and accurately update back-office client recording systems.
- Pre-populate application forms to ensure efficient onboarding and processing of client agreed paths.
- Sense-check file data at early stages to prevent administrative roadblocks or processing delays.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Liaise with support staff to align operational duties and provide operational direction where required.
