This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced underwriter to take ownership of new business development across Property Casualty lines. You will work closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to identify, shape, and secure high-quality opportunities while maintaining underwriting discipline and profitability.
- Underwrite new business across Property and Casualty risks in line with underwriting appetite and authority levels.
- Proactively identify and develop new broker relationships, driving growth through strong market engagement.
- Deliver profitable new business by applying sound underwriting judgment and technical expertise.
- Analyse risk exposures, terms, and pricing using data and underwriting tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and internal teams.
- Contribute to regional business plans and growth strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Act as a senior referral point and mentor for less experienced underwriters where appropriate.
