Overview Pavilion are excited to be partnering with an organisation at the heart of the UK’s aviation sector in the hiring for an Insurance Manager. You will assume full responsibility for £M+ in insurance premium, overseeing all aspects of the business’s insurance programmes. With operations serving over 130 destinations and contributing significantly to the regional and national economy, this is a chance to make a real, measurable impact in providing expertise in risk advice.
Job Purpose Summary
- Lead the annual insurance renewal process and liaise with brokers and stakeholders
- Act as the trusted point of contact for all insurance matters
- Provide expert advice on insurance requirements and risk mitigation – Lead covers include Property, liability, Cyber, PDBI, Aviation
- Liaising with Underwriters and brokers
- Managing insured claims from investigation to resolution when required
- Maintain insurance registers, policies, and procedures
- Support risk management initiatives to minimise financial exposure
- Identify opportunities to recover uninsured losses
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- In-house Insurance Programme Management – ideally with knowledge of P&C, Cyber, PDBI and Aviation
- Professional insurance qualification (e.g., CII or equivalent) – preferred however not essential
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles and risk management
