We are working with a premier, fast-growing financial services and wealth management group. The firm operates in a high-volume, high-value market, delivering top-tier financial advice and exceptional ongoing service to a diverse client base. They pride themselves on building robust business infrastructures where technical expertise directly drives client satisfaction and business growth.
We are seeking a multi-faceted Senior Paraplanner to join the team. In this role, you will work closely with dedicated financial advisers to manage both new business generation and comprehensive client servicing. This is a highly collaborative position requiring sharp technical skills, proactive communication, and the ability to navigate complex, high-net-worth client cases smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Analysis & Advice Preparation: Investigate and assess client financial circumstances to identify critical needs and risks. Gather and analyse external information to build deep, precise reviews of client financial positions. Formulate strategic proposals by conducting detailed market research and compiling compliant documentation. Draft comprehensive summaries and formal suitability reports outlining specific client recommendations. Construct detailed cashflow models to illustrate and support complex financial scenarios. Execute technical calculations including pension annual allowance/carry forward, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and lifetime allowance options.
- File Management & Compliance: Build compliant advice files and accurately update back-office client recording systems. Pre-populate application forms to ensure efficient onboarding and processing of client agreed paths. Sense-check file data at early stages to prevent administrative roadblocks or processing delays.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration: Liaise with support staff to align operational duties and provide operational direction where required. Mentor junior staff by delivering training to help team members progress in their financial careers. Improve workflow processes to elevate the overall client journey and team working environment. Attend client meetings alongside advisers when necessary to assist with complex fact-finding.
What We Are Looking For:
- Technical Expertise: Strong background handling high-risk, high-value, or highly technical advice cases.
- Software Proficiency: Deep working knowledge of financial research software and diverse provider systems.
- Strong Communication: The ability to confidently organise schedule interactions with advisers, management, and support teams.
- Efficiency: Proven track record working effectively within high-volume environments while maintaining strict industry standards.
