Job Description

Hybrid (3 days in London office) | With Travel (UK & Europe)

The Role

  • Leading and delivering Cradle-to-Grave Delegated Authority audits
  • Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Complaints management and delivering actionable audit insights
  • Assessing all aspects of Delegated Partners' performance across Underwriting, Claims Handling, Contractual and Regulatory Compliance, through both desk-based and on-site audits
  • Planning, testing, and reporting audits for presentation and sign-off by the Head of Delegated Authority Audit
  • Effectively planning and co-ordinating remote or on-site audits with each Delegated Partner
  • Completing fieldwork to ensure full delivery of audit scope and objectives
  • Recommending enhancements or additions to Delegated Partner or Accredited processes and procedures
  • Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining comprehensive audit records and databases to ensure data integrity and continuity
  • Supporting and guiding recently hired junior team members – ideal for someone with previous leadership exposure

Experience Required

  • 10–15 years of insurance industry experience – Personal Lines / Commercial
  • Comfort and confidence with technical audit discussions, including full end-to-end audit processes
  • Proven ability to interpret Management Information to support informed decision-making
  • A proactive, hands-on doer with strong audit experience and a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect across all levels of the business
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues
