We’re partnering with one of the UK’s fastest-growing consumer brands to appoint their first in-house CFO — a rare opportunity to join a founder-led business at a pivotal stage of growth and build a finance function from the ground up. Operating across both e-commerce and retail, the business has developed a highly engaged customer following and is now entering an exciting new phase of expansion across stores, channels and international markets.
This is far more than a traditional CFO role. You’ll work directly with the Founders as a true commercial partner, helping shape strategy, drive scalable growth and bring greater financial visibility across a fast-paced, multi-channel operation. The role will suit someone equally comfortable operating strategically at board level whilst still being hands-on day-to-day.
The Opportunity
- Build and scale the finance function in a rapidly growing business
- Partner closely with the Founders on commercial strategy and growth plans
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and board reporting
- Drive performance insight across retail, e-commerce and international operations
- Manage multi-currency exposure, FX risk and hedging strategies
- Support store rollout, operational efficiencies and international expansion
- Develop scalable financial models
