We are partnered with an independent Lloyd’s Broker that has an almost 40-year history in the market to recruit a Divisional Director level Client Broker/Account Executive to join their well-established Aviation team. This business has over 650 employees and an Aviation team of 20, who specialise in providing risk solutions for all areas of business from airlines to airport operators, to more niche areas including component manufacturers, executive aircraft and lease/finance companies.
This role will involve handling major accounts and the joint management of the Aviation team to achieve the performance targets of the Divisional business plan, managing HR issues for the team, being the senior advocate in conjunction with the MD and Senior Team for the Division, maintain local compliance, regulatory and quality practice standards and assist in the development/introduction of new and existing business.
Critical Knowledge & Experience:
- London/International market experience preferably in broking and account servicing. Exposure to large international corporations; technical insurance.
- Extensive Aviation Class of Business, including Airline, Airports and General Aviation classes. Structuring of cover and placement.
- Experience in slip production and certificate issuance.
