The Role
You'll be the go-to person for surveying, claims management, and contractor management. You will provide our network of introducers (letting agents, building managers and homeowners) a first class experience throughout the claims process. You will be a strong negotiator with a comprehensive understanding of the insurance landscape and the world of property repairs. You will take an initial property incident (an escape of water, fire, flood or other damage), produce detailed inspection reports, raise an insurance claim and negotiate with insurers on site to get to great client outcomes. In doing this you will require an understanding of property construction, estimates for repairs and the insurance process. You will, of course, be provided with training from the experienced surveying and claims handling team.
What You'll Do
- Be the first responder to property emergencies, assessing damage and managing the immediate aftermath following damage.
- Have a detailed eye, surveying properties, to produce detailed scopes of work - our tech platform will help you curate these reports.
- You will be the on-site conduit with insurers and their representatives, playing a lead role in claim negotiations.
- Liaise with tenants, property owners and building managers, keeping them informed of the claims process and the reinstatement works.
- Orchestrate repair programmes with our skilled contractors, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and top-notch results.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, spreading the word about our services.
- You will schedule and participate in quarterly on-site client (Letting Agent) training to ensure that awareness and adoption of our services is maximised.
- You will lead business development for your region, learning the business value proposition.
- You will drive regional operations managing staff and business processes to enable effective delivery.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
