Your new company is based in London and is an innovative consultancy working with a wide variety of clients across the UK, in both the public and private sectors, delivering civil and environmental engineering projects to meet the growing demands of our changing world. With a keen interest in projects supporting the shift to active travel and sustainable design, their team is passionate about making a real difference in transforming infrastructure to provide environments that people can enjoy and thrive in.

Your new role involves joining the Highways team with a robust pipeline of interesting civil engineering and public realm design projects. You will be tasked with managing multiple projects and leading delivery teams on schemes including town centre redevelopments, new cycle ways, civic squares, and junction improvements.

About you: As a Senior Highways Design Engineer, you would ideally have a couple of years of London-centric experience. You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the team and possess keen client and stakeholder liaison skills. It would be great if you can tick off most of the below:

  • Strong CAD skills (Civil 3D desirable)
  • Strong Highways Design Background
  • Proven ability to deliver to time and budget
  • Familiar with NEC form of contract and Document Control and Common Data Environment (CDE) software
