Our client is a specialist highways and civil engineering contractor delivering highway improvement, maintenance, and infrastructure schemes across the UK. They are recognised for their strong safety culture, high-quality delivery, and experience working within live highway and traffic-sensitive environments.
Site-based Project Manager required to deliver a highways improvement scheme in Kent. You’ll manage day-to-day site activities, programme, labour, subcontractors, and client interface on a live highway project.
Scope of Works
- Cycleway / footway reconstruction
- Minor highway structures (retaining wall)
- Traffic management on 40mph dual carriageway & 30mph roads
- Mainly day works (07:30–17:00), with some night shifts possible
Responsibilities
- Daily site management
- Manage labour (up to 8 operatives) and subcontractors
- RAMS preparation and updates
- Materials take-offs and ordering
- Chair client & senior management meetings
